John Staton, Lead Pastor

Bishop John Staton became the Lead Pastor of the Real Life Fellowship Church of God September 1, 2023. Before moving to New Mexico he served as Lead Pastor in Tennessee, Arizona, Arkansas, and Ohio. Bishop John earned his Exhorters License in the Church of God on December 11, 2018. He went on the earn his Ordained Ministers License in the Church of God on November 22, 2019. Finally on May 6, 2024 he earned his Ordained Bishop License with the Church of God. Bishop John has 6 children Aaron John, AnneLisa, Josiah, Micah, Jamon, and Mercy Staton. In addition to being the Lead Pastor at the RLFCOG he also drives School Bus for the Tularosa Municipal School District and serves as an Intern Funeral Director/Mortician at the Alamogordo Funeral Home.
